Welcome to our new page, including some of our favourite pics of 2009 and celebrating JUST SOME of the highlights for the Ubersein Team.

In this year alone, SIX DIFFERENT dogs of our breeding have taken out Best In Show or Runner Up In Shows awards, several more gaining Specialty Reserve cc's and numerous others winning classes and achieving V1 Ratings.

To the naysayers who somehow try to excuse our success with the ill informed comment that we are just saturating the ring by breeding "lots of litters", let the following facts get in the way of that piece of fiction:

In 2009 we bred 2 litters.
In the last 5 years we have bred a total of 12 litters (an average of just over 2 per year).
In our nearly 20 years in the breed, we have just clocked up our 27th litter.
Hardly excessive, especially when considering that SEVERAL kennels in Victoria alone have bred between 20 and 30 litters over that same last 5 years!

The fact that there are many high achieving Ubersein dogs is because our litters are usually deep in quality and many dogs per litter make it into the ring or competition arena.  On many occasions we have bred litters containing 4 or more Champions  and are the only kennel to have bred 2 litters with 3 National Champions resulting.  So,  we really are about quality not quantity.

After nearly 20 years Ubersein has some of the most qualified and admired bitches in the country in our breeding program.  Special thanks to all those people along the way who have done the right thing and honoured their commitment to make these bitches available for breeding as promised, many people can only enjoy their dogs because of your contribution.

Also, over this year I would like to make a special mention of a few people in our team who have been a really great support - Jason Berryman, Annette Slavin, Jenny Woodman, Sara Lingwood, Karen Mather and last but not least Tracey Finn.  Thanks guys for being an important part of our success.
