From about 5 weeks of age it was obvious we had something special on our hands with Voom.
Whilst she hails from a litter tremendously deep in quality, she still somehow managed to stand out.
Prior to the birth of this litter, pick bitch had been promised to Annette Slavin, a 30 year veteran of the breed who had up til then never owned a Champion, although not for a lack of trying!!  Instead Annette had kept herself and her (not so successful show) dogs busy with Obedience and she had come to be regarded as a top trainer.

When Voom was 8 weeks, as promised, off she went to Annette.  We felt quite sure that this time Annette might finally get her Champion Show Dog, and maybe put a few working titles on her too.

Vooms story, whilst still unfolding (at the time of updating she is 4 years of age) is certainly one of tremendous success that all of the Ubersein team enjoy being a part of.

Voom, six and a half weeks
On her first outing at the NSW Rottweiler Club in Sydney, as the baby of a large baby class, she turned heads all around the ring - striding out to the end of her lead and pulling like a train.  She took out that class under Australian Breed Specialist Yvonne van der Horst and backed it up the following week in Newcastle with Baby in Show under Dutch Breed Specialist Lex Quartel.
These wins were to be the first amongst many.
Voom, ten weeks
A few months later and Voom was one week into Minor Puppy Class at the Adelaide Specialty.  Specialist Judge Gabor Haas (Hungary) awarded BEST IN SHOW to kennel mate Ch. Ubersein Tonka Tough (AI), but not without agonising over his desire to award Voom more than Minor In Show.  He foreshadowed that in the future Voom would be "unbeatable".
By November 2008, Voom was approaching a year of age.
Not about to stop her winning ways, here she is pictured winning the Puppy Bitch class under Specialist ADRK judge Herr Uwe Peterman.
Brother Ubersein Vaturbo's Legacy took out the male Puppy class and went Puppy In Show, and other brother Ubersein Veni Vidi Vici (put up to Junior so as not to compete with his brother) went V1 and Junior In Show in that class!
Less than two months on Voom and her lovely brothers were competing in Queensland at the National Show under Bulgarian Breed Specialist Gergana Atanassova.
Brothers Vaturbo's Legacy and Veni Vidi Vici went VP1 and VP2 in Minor, but the real shock came at the challenge line up when Gergana came all the way down the line to Vaturbo's Legacy (Kharma), handing him the challenge, with reserve to his sire Wenno.  She confidently predicted Kharma would have a big future.  And so he has, an Australian Champion, Multi V1 Best In Specialty Show winner in his own right.

Voom herself didn't disappoint, her critique was cracking, with the judge using the word "EXCELLENT" 8 times.  Voom went on to beat her brother Kharma for Minor In Show as well as picking up Reserve Challenge and RUNNER UP IN SHOW.  Still a tender 8 months of age.
And (left) the next month she takes out V1 and Challenge Bitch at the South Australian Rottweiler Club Specialty in Adelaide under Australian Breed Specialist Dr Roberta Veale.

On this occasion brother Kharma (Vaturbo's Legacy) went BEST IN SHOW, and father Wenno Runner Up In Show.
In between Specialties Voom attended some all Breeds shows and easily attained her Australian Championship title.  We believe her to be the youngest Australian Champion in her home state of Victoria, aged just a few days over 13 months.

And she continued to shine at Specialties, here she is in September 2009 going V1, Challenge Bitch and Runner Up In Show under Russian Breed Specialist Dr Olga Grin.
A few weeks later, just on the back of her CCD title and BEST IN TRIAL, now back home in Victoria, Voom is V1 from a large Intermediate Bitch Class.  Brother Veni Vidi Vici (left of picture) takes out the male Intermediate class and Reserve Challenge but she still pips him for Intermediate in Show!

Breed Specialist judge is Herr Werner Walter, ADRK Germany.
After a rest from showing over the summer, the Specialty calendar began again at the Rottweiler Club of Victoria's February 2010 Championship Show, judged by Austrian Breed Specialist Inge Ebersteller.

And only a couple of months later, the beautiful VOOM
backs it up in the Ultimate Style,
CHALLENGE BITCH (right) and

BEST IN SHOW
20th NATIONAL SPECIALTY

under ADRK JUDGE
Herr Paul Dieter Viehoff.

VOOM also wins the ring and
achieves her first pass in Novice

Vooms dam Puck is the 6th consective generation of Stud Dog/Brood Bitch winners for Ubersein and in her one and only litter has produce 3 Best In Specialty Show winners,
including 2 NATIONAL BISS WINNERS.
These dogs have been complimented by visiting specialists as World Class representatives of the breed.

With this backdrop, it is no surprise that Voom in combination with Gandalf has produced such an exceptional litter.  We believe Voom is not only one of the most awarded bitches in the country, but will, through the generations of strength on her dam line, make her most significant contribution in the whelping box.
We sincerely thank her owner and our friend Annette for working together with us to achieve this.

Of the many wonderful Rotts that we have bred that can be seen in the UBERSEIN DOGS pages, there are nevertheless a number who have stood out for us in their own particular way.
Some are the beginnings of our kennel, some are our first big winners, others exceptional working or producing Rotts.  These animals command their own page:

Honour
Placed highly on the pegs for the remainder of the year, including Reserve Challenge to kennel mate NRCA & Aust. Ch. Ubersein Tough At The Top (AI) at the RCSA Specialty in October 2010, Voom took time out from competition to give birth to her first litter of puppies.  Sire was the carefully chosen International Champion Gandalf Marstal (Poland) from whom we had imported semen specifically for the purpose.

On 26 March 2011 Voom whelped her litter os 12 puppies and we watched them grow.

By the time the puppies were really up and around we knew we had a cracking litter on our hands.

Aside from two females with overbites, the remaining 10 were outstanding.  It was virtualy impossible to place the males in any sort of order, and almost the same with the females.  Luckily we had a number of excellent show homes across the country on hand to take on these pups.

Voom returned to the ring and attended 5 Specialty Shows for the remainder of the year.
She achieved 4 V1 Ratings, 2 Challenges and 2 Runner Up in Shows, including Challenge Bitch at the 2011 National Specialty from 130 bitches.

Top Honours on that day went to littermate Dual Ch. (T) Ubersein Veni Vidi Vici, taking out BEST IN SHOW.

At the time of writing, Voom's first litter is now 8 months old and have already blazed a trail with numerous Specialty Class wins.  At the 2011 National Specialty in a class of 11 Minor Puppies, there was no room for anyone else in the first 4 spaces, Vooms 4 sons entered in the class took the top 4 spots.

Daughter Drop Dead Gorgeous won a Minor Bitch Class of 17, backing up her 3 Specialty Class in Show wins already racked up.

Two other siblings competed against much older competiion in the Puppy Class, both placed 2nd behind their Blickscharf cousins sired by Veni Vidi Vici.

We believe this litter of Vooms is shaping up to break all records.
